Gogol. Nachalo

A young scribe named Nikolai Gogol, plagued by mysterious visions and epileptic fits, travels to rural Ukraine alongside a celebrated detective to investigate a series of brutal murders. The killings appear connected to a supernatural horseman who terrorises the local villagers, and Gogol's strange prophetic episodes begin to suggest he may have a deeper connection to the dark forces at work. As the investigation unfolds, Gogol confronts both the sinister legends of the Ukrainian countryside and unsettling questions about his own identity and gifts.
