A grandmother finds herself unexpectedly taking on the care of her grandchildren when her daughter is no longer able to look after them. As she navigates the challenges of raising a new generation later in life, she must balance her own needs and limitations with her love for the children. The arrangement forces the family to confront unresolved tensions and ultimately redefine what it means to hold a family together.
