An Italian judge finds himself in a moral and legal crisis when his son is involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident, and the victim turns out to be connected to a powerful criminal family. Desperate to protect his child from both the justice system and violent retribution, the judge must compromise the very principles he has built his career upon. His attempts to conceal the truth draw him ever deeper into a web of corruption and danger.
