For a Bollywood film shooting in the UK.
The story of Praveen, a humble boy born and raised in a lower middle class family in New Delhi, who is lured to London by a friend.
Rôles
JOGINER SINGH - aka JOGGI
Joggi is a medium built average Punjabi man ideally not more that 5’10 in height. He should have the most unassuming character and a boyish charm in his face. He is not a sardar and since he has been living in London for 2 years now he has picked up the dressing styles of regular Indian/African styles with baggy jeans and base ball caps etc. He has a love for jewellery and wears big rings and chains around his neck.
Joggi needs to be fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. Punjabi is his mother tongue. The English he speaks is not fluent but living in London for long he has picked up the words and sentences to be able to carry on a conversation.
Days required: 10-15 days
Contract info: £150 - £180 per day

BILAL
A second generation Pakistani born and raised in London. Bilal is physically fit and is always well groomed and dressed. He is 55 years of age but due to his athletic built he looks much younger.
Bilal is a second generation Brit Indian and hence can speak English in the British accent. He is also fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi as he runs an Indian Restaurant and is well known in the Asian community.
Days required: 3- 5 days
Contract info: £150 -£175 per day

SANDY
A British lady who is 40 + years of age. She is a nurse working with the NHS. She is married to Joggi who has married her with the sole intent of getting a British passport.
Language: British English with some broken Hindi/Punjabi. Please specify on your submission.
Must be available from 7th to 30th September

CHIEF INSPECTOR
The Chief Inspector is a 58 year old career policeman. He has been in the Police force for over 20 years and is a mentor to majority of his staff members. He is under 6 feet in height.

MARK
Mark is a seasoned UK Border Agency Senior Officer. Mark is a senior officer and hence very well versed in the paperwork and legal formalities. He is a fit and healthy individual who is very intelligent. He is under 6 feet in height.

HARDIK PATEL
Hardik Is a second generation British Indian. Hardik is a solicitor and had worked under Mr. Patel. Hardik is slender built and under 6 foot in height.

MUSKAN
Muskan is a student in the South Thames College of London. She is a bright student and comes from a middle class family in Rajkot India. She shares her room with Bhanu who is her dear friend and they study in the same college. Muskan is 23 years of age and is younger than Bhanu. She is outspoken and has a keen sense of loyalty towards Bhanu. She is a good student and values her studies and career.
Physically she is a slender average looking Indian girl.

MR. PATEL
Mr. Patel is a migrant Indian who had travelled to the UK 40 years back. Mr. Patel is an average NRI Indian who is about 5 ‘ 8 in height. He has a pleasing personality and is 65 years of Age.

BALWINDER SINGH
Balwinder Singh is a Punjabi Assistant Chef. Balwinder is slim and does not wear a turban. He has a lovable personality and is very compassionate.

SUNNY
Sunny is a Punjabi youth hailing from Amritsar. Sunny has been in the UK for 6 years. Every year he enrols in a sham course and extends his student visa. He has perfected the ‘look and style’ of a Brit Asian but when he speaks it can be understood that he is a migrant who is not born and raised in the UK.
Sunny is of normal physique but very well groomed.
Sunny can speak fluent English, Punjabi and Hindi. He has picked up the British accent partly.

SATINDER
Sander Singh is a 56 year old Punjabi chef who came to London illegally along with his brother Balwinder through the land route hiding in meat containers.
Sander is overweight and a sardar.

Rob is a Senior Police officer of the Metropolitan Police.
Rob is a physically fit person of average height but sturdily built, with strong arms and a broad shoulder. His physical appearance has to be intimidating.
Rob is a UK citizen but should have a strong Scottish accent. He can be a person of Scottish origin who is living and working in London.
