Low-budget short film (10–15 min) titled 'A Day in Purgatory' (Un giorno in purgatorio), competing at CICI's Film Festival at Castellammare del Golfo in Sicily. Directed by Andreas van Riet (NL).

Genre: Drama, mystery. Languages: English and Italian.

Logline: Two lost souls — a man too early and a woman too late — haunt each other as their passages through town turn into a mutual pursuit where the more they search, the less they find.

Synopsis: A man visiting a small Sicilian town mixes up the dates of his return flight and meets a mysterious woman on his final day. A woman from the same town returning home for the anniversary of her deceased husband discovers she's too late and gets visited by a familiar spirit. Both venture into town without plan or purpose, always just missing one another.
