Richard Leron Bucher

Richard Leron Bucher was already in his youth on stage with his band „Drugde“ and toured through Switzerland. He was soon drawn to acting through music because, he wanted to combine singing with acting. So he packed his bags and started a musical school (AMDA, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in New York. Then back in Switzerland he started his acting training at EFAS (European Film Acting School) in Zurich, which he graduated in 2007 with a diploma.

This was followed by engagements in various musical productions as in „Sleeping beauty“ as the king (Zurich, Bethel Chapel and Switzerland tour), „Craousel“ as Jigger Craigin (Perry Mansfield, USA), „Line 1“ diverse roles (Köniz, Bern), then he was seen in theater in "Die kleine Niederdorf Oper" as Mister Kübler, „Out of Order“ as the Body (Bernhard theatre, Zurich) and TV „Forbidden Love“ (ARD), „My dark secret“ (SAT1), „Fates forbidden new luck“ (SAT1). Richard Leron Bucher still sings project-wise and can be seen in various short films and commercials.
