Winky's Horse

A young Dutch girl from a strict religious community becomes captivated by a horse she spots at a travelling fair, and despite her family's limited means and her father's reservations, she holds onto the hope of one day owning it. The film gently explores the tension between faith, practicality, and the fierce desires of childhood, as Winky refuses to give up on her dream even when circumstances seem to make it impossible.
