The Bridge

A body is discovered precisely on the bridge spanning the border between Sweden and Denmark, forcing police from both countries to collaborate on the investigation. Swedish detective Saga Norén, methodical and socially detached, is paired with her more emotionally intuitive Danish counterpart Martin Rohde. As they dig deeper, they uncover a series of carefully staged crimes that appear to carry a pointed political or social message. The unlikely partnership is tested by their clashing personalities as the case grows increasingly complex and disturbing.
