Chetvyortaya planeta

A group of cosmonauts returns from a long mission in space only to find that life on Earth has changed beyond recognition during their absence, leaving them struggling to adapt to a society that has shifted dramatically. The film uses their disorientation as a lens through which to examine the upheaval of post-Soviet Russian society in the 1990s, contrasting their old values and expectations with a chaotic new world driven by money and moral uncertainty.
