A group of fans gather outside a church where the funeral of a rock star named Colin Fitz is being held, each harbouring their own reasons for being there and their own beliefs about the dead musician's significance. Over the course of the day, the assembled mourners interact, clash, and reveal their personal histories and obsessions. The film examines themes of celebrity worship, grief, and the strange bonds that form between strangers united by their devotion to an icon.
