The Adopters

A Canadian comedy series following a Black woman and a Jewish man who, despite being strangers, discover they were both adopted and share the same birth mother, making them unexpected half-siblings. The two must navigate this sudden family connection whilst also dealing with their own complicated lives, relationships, and identities. Their growing bond is tested and enriched as they explore questions of heritage, belonging, and what family truly means.
