A brutal murder on the bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark draws two detectives together — the methodical Swedish officer Saga Norén and her more instinctive Danish counterpart Martin Rohde. The body is discovered positioned precisely on the border between the two countries, forcing the two nations' police forces to collaborate. As the investigation deepens, it becomes clear that the killer is pursuing an ideological agenda, targeting societal failings through a series of carefully staged crimes.
