Anna Elisabeth Hiller

Hi there, I'm Anna, a Vienna based performer. I grew up in a very international context: I spent my childhood in Switzerland and then lived in France and Vienna to Austrian and British parents which means English, German and French are all mother tongues to me,. I trained at Vienna's English Theatre Academy, graduating with Merit, and before that spent over a decade as a competitive classical ballet dancer across Vienna, Toulouse, Singapore and Paris. That training still shows up in how I move and how I work. I also have been taking voice lessons for about three years now, and one of my long-term goals is to become a triple threat in dance, acting and singing.

On stage, I've taken on roles ranging from the title role in Nell Gwynn to Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Cece-Kara-Anna-Brynn in The Apiary and I've recently joined Butterfly Effect Theatre Company as Development Director. On screen, I most recently led Ambigram and had a small role in All Men of my Life.

I'm always training. Lately that's meant Meisner technique with Stephen Ditmyer and Presence in Acting with Yorgos Karamalegos, and I'm lucky to work with beautiful people and collaborators who keep pushing me. I'm represented by Noelia Rufat Representaciones.
