Grenzgang
(2013)
A small German village prepares for its traditional boundary walk, a centuries-old communal ritual that brings its scattered inhabitants together. As the event unfolds, the film offers quiet, observational glimpses into the lives of various locals, revealing private tensions, loneliness, and fleeting human connections. The ceremony itself becomes a backdrop against which the rhythms and frictions of rural community life are gently examined.
