Lurk

A Chinese intelligence operative is embedded deep within the Nationalist government during the late Republican era, working as a double agent whilst maintaining his cover at great personal and emotional cost. His loyalty to the Communist cause is tested by the relationships he forms with colleagues, particularly a female comrade with whom he grows close. The series follows the tension between duty, deception and human connection as the protagonist navigates a world of shifting allegiances and constant danger.
