Gladiator 2

Set decades after the events of the original film, the story follows Lucius, the grandson of Marcus Aurelius, who is captured and forced into the brutal world of gladiatorial combat after Roman forces conquer his home. Driven by rage and a desire for vengeance, he rises through the arena whilst becoming entangled in a dangerous political power struggle threatening the empire. A scheming military leader manipulates events from the shadows as Lucius must decide between personal retribution and a greater fight for Rome's soul.
