A near-future thriller set in Norway, where Russia — with tacit Western approval — gradually takes political and military control of the country following a Norwegian government decision to halt oil production in favour of renewable energy. The story follows various characters including politicians, journalists and security personnel as they navigate collaboration, resistance and moral compromise under the occupation. The series explores themes of sovereignty, national identity and the difficult choices ordinary people face when their country's independence is slowly eroded.
