Vite in Fuga

A Sicilian family is forced to flee their home after the father, a former member of the Mafia, finds himself once again targeted by his old criminal associates. They attempt to build a new, anonymous life in northern Italy under assumed identities, but the pressures of living in hiding place enormous strain on each family member. As the past steadily catches up with them, the tension between the need for safety and the desire for a normal life comes to a head.
