Casting actors based in or near Amsterdam/ Rotterdam for roles in "The smiling man", a graduation short film.

Logline: A clown battling despair wakes to find his mask permanently stuck to his face, setting off a surreal spiral where his identity and reality blur, forcing him to confront the unraveling mind behind his forced smile.

Shooting in Amsterdam/Rotterdam at the beginning of April 2025.

We cover all expenses (within the Amsterdam/Rotterdam area) and provide food on set.
