Synopsis

Florence wakes up in a blank, white room across from a

dirty girl in hiking clothes. The girl flashes a camera at her,

and Florence awakes to find herself in therapy. She sits

across from Jessica, who is asking her about her dreams.

Florence hesitates to answer and becomes increasingly

frustrated with the sound of a metronome. Florence leaves,

running into the same girl, who flashes her again. Florence

finds herself stuck in the same loop over and over,

reluctantly answering Jessica’s questions as the never ending

ticking metronome remains the only constant each

time the girl flashes her and she awakens in therapy. As the

loops progress, her cousin slowly begins to take Jessica’s

place, and Florence finds herself in the white room again. As

she talks to Luz, Florence finds herself on a hiking trail at

the scene of her cousins death. She is forced to confront her

traumatic past and wakes up, finally free from the loop. Back

in therapy, for real this time, Florence hugs Jessica. The

room, silent.
