Casting Overview

For a BFI funded short film, titled ‘Fairview Park’, to be shot in Leeds, September 2022.

Synopsis: Declan Flynn, a man struggling for self-acceptance, is prayed upon by a gang of self-described ‘Queer-bashers’ in Dublin, 1982. Based on the true story seen as a major catalyst for Ireland’s gay rights movement.

Due to the nature of the production we will be prioritising the casting of individuals from the LQBTQ community and of Irish Heritage.

Our deadline for self tapes is the 13th May and auditions will be held in Central London on the 21st May, 2022.
