Casting Overview
Casting ”A Simple Tale of Love”, a two person one-Act 50-minute dramedy stage play, previously performed at the Camden Fringe and London Horror Festival.
It will be rehearsed locally in Gloucester and over Zoom as a play but only performed to a camera crew near London (travel from Gloucester provided).
Shoot/Performance: London area.
Shoot/performance date: A date in August must be committed to for the filming – date still tbc but likely a Sunday.
The project is unfunded, expenses only.
Actors will receive an IMDB credit and exposure in global festivals, also online (YouTube) and other.

Roles
ROLE: JD
male actor 30's - 40's, based in Gloucester, some film/theatre experience required. Dance (salsa) skills desirable but not essential.
JD is a demon who has been punished to walk the earth as a man but then is befriended by a woman who he visits for weekly dinners.
Played low-key as a being clueless of the ways of the human world, whose heart warms up for the first time in his eternal existence during the course of the play.
NB: the role involves physical contact/kissing
