Good YouTube Links  #

For technical reasons, we only accept public YouTube links that look like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxx

Notice that the URL ends in this format: 

watch?v=xxxxxx

These are:

• Not password-protected
• Not private or hidden
• Viewable by anyone
• Set to allow embedding

This type of video will play directly on your profile on our website.

Bad YouTube Links  #

Unfortunately, we cannot accept links like these:

https://youtube.com/shorts/xxxxxx

These are shorts and will not embed on our site.

Casting Directors expect a "standard" looking YouTube video, one that is in landscape format.

We also cannot accept videos that:

• Are password-protected
• Are marked as “unlisted” or “only people with the private link”
• Are set to not allow embedding

Note, that we cannot accept these links because of restrictions on YouTube which don't allow them to show on other websites.
