Sorting Applicants

When actors apply to your casting, their applications appear on your applicants page. To find it, open Castings in the menu and choose My Castings, then open your casting and click View applicants. You can also reach the page from the link in your application emails.

The page is available to the person who posted the casting and to anyone whose verified account email matches the casting's contact address. You will need to be logged in, and your email address must be verified.

What you will see #

Each applicant appears as a card showing their photo, name and country. Click a card to open the actor's full profile in a new tab. Only completed applications are shown, and each actor appears once.

If your casting has more than one role, each card carries a coloured tag showing which role the actor applied for. Use the buttons at the top of the page to show all applicants or only those for a single role.

Sorting applicants #

Applicants are arranged in three groups: Yes, Maybe and No. New applicants start in Maybe. To sort them, simply drag a card from one group to another. You can also drag cards into your preferred order within a group. Everything saves automatically, so your groups and ordering will be exactly as you left them next time you visit.

Reading an actor's message #

If an actor included a message with their application, a small "i" appears on their card. Click it to read the message, and click anywhere else to close it.

Notes #

Each card has a Note button. Click it to open a small text box where you can write your own comments about the applicant, for example "great look, check availability". Notes save when you click away from the box. The button appears filled in when a note exists, so you can spot your noted applicants at a glance. Notes are private to you and are never shown to the actor.

Changing an applicant's role #

If an actor applied for the wrong part, or you would like to consider them for a different one, click the coloured role tag on their card and choose the new role from the list.
