A young American woman relocates to Bucharest with her Romanian husband and begins to suspect that a man she keeps glimpsing in the apartment building opposite is stalking her. As a serial killer terrorises the city, her growing sense of dread is dismissed by those around her, leaving her increasingly isolated and uncertain of her own instincts. Her determination to uncover the truth about her mysterious neighbour puts her in grave danger.
