About Me
Mark began acting as a child, and now acts in English, Dutch and French. He obtained a LAMDA acting qualification, awarded with honours and trained at Manchester Youth Theatre, one of the largest in Britain. He recently played the Dougie in a Famous Grouse Whisky ad, the Traitor in a Hollywood film starring Guy Pearce and 40 roles in 2 hours in The Thirty-Nine Steps. In 2020 he played a guest role in a TV series for VPRO television and was lead voice actor on The Forgotten Battle - a new Netflix release. His previous roles have included Shakespeare, Sondheim musicals and numerous roles for QETC in the Netherlands and on tour. He is frequently in demand for corporate and film work. Mark also provides voiceovers for audio guides, learning programmes and commercials. Being fluent in English, Dutch and French adds an extra dimension to his talent for accents and characters. REVIEWS \'I very much liked Mark Winstanley’s sad Graham Whittaker. He really made us believe the helplessness and Graham’s fear of being plunged even deeper into the well of loneliness.\' Michael Hasted - Arts Talk Magazine - reviewing Talking Heads by Alan Bennett See also
