Ivan Gordillo was born in Mexico City in 1970. He studied drama at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. As an actor, he has toured and performed in many theatre festivals in Mexico, South America, and Spain. Since 2017 he works as a film/tv actor and theatre director in Belgium.
