Gyan Jacobs

Acting has always been a big dream of mine. Earlier in life, I took a different path and put that dream aside, but over the past few years I have regained the confidence to pursue it seriously. Working in hospitality has helped me become more outgoing, spontaneous and comfortable interacting with many different people.

My acting experience is still limited. I performed several times at school when I was younger and occasionally took part in local theatre. I don't yet have professional acting experience, but I am eager to learn, open to direction and feedback, and motivated to develop my skills.

In my free time, I enjoy gaming, learning new things and being creative. I have a strong imagination and enjoy coming up with stories, characters and situations. I also like analysing films and series, paying particular attention to how actors use emotion, body language and dialogue to portray their characters. Sometimes I recreate scenes or characters myself to explore how I would approach them. When something interests me, I tend to immerse myself in it completely.

I am a native Dutch/Flemish speaker and also speak English. My goal is to gain experience in film and television, both in Belgium and internationally, while continuing to learn and develop as an actor. I am ready to work hard, take on new challenges and make the most of every opportunity I am given.
