About Me
Betty Galindo is a Mexican-American actress, writer, and singer-songwriter based in Madrid. Born and raised in San Francisco, California, she discovered her passion for acting early on and developed her foundation in classical voice.
She is also a Lin-Manuel Miranda Fellow and trained at the two-time Tony Award-winning Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, where she participated in the Theatermakers Intensive program. Betty earned her B.F.A. in Acting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and continued her training in improv, drama, and comedy at The Groundlings and Lesly Kahn & Co. in Los Angeles. She currently trains at The Acting Studio Madrid.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Betty performs in both languages across film and theater. She also starred in the short film “Cigarettes After Dark,” which was nominated for “Best Short” and premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival and the Mexican-American Television & Film Festival.
