Hi, my name is Vito Tuosto, I am 38 years old. I am from the south of Italy.
I studied "History and Philosophy" at the University in Rome and Paris. Meanwhile i started to study acting in some theater workshops. Then I enrolled in the three-year academy of Beatrice Bracco, approaching the Stanislavskij-Strasberg method.
Over the years I have worked in different productions, so I have played in both classical and contemporary works, comedies and dramas. From Greek tragedies to Shakespeare, from Molière to Checov, Pirandello, Ibsen, Beckett, Ionesco, Edoardo De Flippo, Tennesse Williams
This way, I had the chance to play various characters, both comic and dramatic roles.
So I experimented various theatrical genres; for example, I did a lot of readings, I studied the tecnique of the "Commedia dell'arte", acting with masks. I did avant-garde theater too, playing in some non conventional spaces, like: museums, art fairs and in the streets too.
I played in some shortmovies and advertising too.
lately, I’ve taken part in some workshops with the "Cirque du Soleil" and his founder Franco Dragone
In recent times I have been approaching the world of photography and directing, and i have to say that it's very interesting and stimulating.
Two years ago, I attended an intensive course in film directing. Then i worked in a theatre, leading a workshop for actors and directing the final show.
Finally, this year i have took some lessons in screenwriting and creative writing and i keep working as actor of course!
I can speak french and spanish too and a little bit of portuguese.
I do practice these sports: basketball, football, volleyball, scenic fencing, cycling, swimming, running/jogging.
