Passionate about the artistic world from an early age, Jamal Djabou, has a click when seeing the films of Scorsese and Visconti. I attended the theater with the classics including Molière then launched himself, body and soul, in the apprenticeship of the profession of actor in particular and followed the lessons of Philippe Brigaud at the "Studio 34" course in Paris.
He is seduced by cinema after having interpreted several roles in Cinema, television and in commercials.
He perfects himself during professional internships. One thing leading to another, he adds another passion to his bow: production.
He then forged his weapons as an assistant director in a few short films before directing his own which evoke without complex or difficulty, the various and varied themes of immigration, the unusual, and especially the absurdity
by subtly mixing fiction and documentary. Jamal Djabou has proven himself in France with Nine productions (including two documentaries), produced and directed between 1999 and 2008, all of which have been recognized by professionals during attendance at international festivals such as those in Montreal (Canada), Moncton ( Canada), Cannes, St-Maur, Casablanca, Paris-la Villette and television broadcasts (Demain Tv, Direct 8 and 2M).
He plans to shoot his first feature film.
