Marcel started his acting at the age of 19 with small parts at a Dutch theater company called De Paardenkathedraal. After a few years on the stage, he switched his focus to film acting and became part of the 48HFP movement in Holland. In 2011 he took a break from acting to travel through Europe, still picking up acting jobs were ever he could. In 2012 on his travels he stumbled on an Indy film-festival in Berlin called KinoBerlino. This festival was part of a bigger movement called KinoKabaret with Kino´s around the world. His travels stopped in 2016 when he met his wife at a KinoKabaret festival in Munchen. In 2017 he and his wife decided to move to Holland to settle down and focus his career in The Netherlands. As time grew he and his wife started producing KinooniK Holland in the Netherlands. He has been in many Dutch short films and TV commercials. He also works outside of The Netherlands in short film, series and commercials.
