Problems Uploading or Viewing Profile Photos
If you're having trouble uploading a photo to your profile, here are a few things to check:
File Size Limits #
We allow you to upload photos of up to about 2 or 3 megabytes in size. However, for best results, your photo should be under 1 megabyte. If your photo is too large, try reducing its size using a photo editor or online compression tool.
We Compress Photos for You
Once your photo is uploaded, we automatically compress it slightly. This helps us send your photo more easily to casting directors by email or through online packages. This will not reduce the visible quality — your photo will still look excellent when viewed by casting professionals.
Seeing the Wrong Photo? #
If you’ve uploaded a new photo but still see an old one, your browser may be showing you a cached (old) image. To fix this:
- Try refreshing the page with Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).
- Clear your browser’s cache (usually found in settings > privacy or history).
- Or try viewing your profile using a different browser that you haven’t used before — this will bypass the old cache completely.
- You can also open your profile in private/incognito mode, which ignores cached files.
Still Not Working? #
If you’ve tried the above, and it’s still not working, try uploading a slightly smaller photo again and make sure the file is in JPG or PNG format.
If you're still stuck, contact support, and we’ll help check what’s going on.
