When all is said and done, there really are only a few words to say about intimate scenes, sex and the actor, and just a few rules to bear in mind.

1. Treat the intimate scenes like any other (prepare the scene, get into the moment, know your lines, know your character).
2. Talk with your scene partner beforehand and choreograph what will happen.
3. Respect your fellow actors.
4. Don’t let anyone push you into doing anything you don’t feel comfortable doing.
