Two childhood friends reunite unexpectedly when one of them, now drifting through life, accepts a lift home across rural Italy from the other. Over the course of the journey, long-buried feelings and unresolved tensions between the two men gradually surface, forcing both to confront what they mean to each other and what kind of future they might want.
