The Young Messiah

A fictional account of a year in the childhood of Jesus Christ, set when his family returns to Nazareth from Egypt. The seven-year-old boy begins to sense that he is different from those around him, grappling with questions about his own divine nature that even his parents struggle to answer. Meanwhile, a Roman soldier has been tasked with hunting down and killing the child, adding an element of danger to the family's journey home.
