The Man Who Sold His Skin
(2020)
A Syrian refugee, fleeing the civil war, agrees to have a Schengen visa tattooed across his back by a provocative Belgian conceptual artist, transforming himself into a living artwork exhibited across Europe's galleries. The arrangement grants him freedom of movement but reduces him to a commodity, blurring the line between human being and art object. As he navigates this Faustian bargain, he pursues the woman he loves, who has moved to Brussels with a diplomat husband, and begins to question the true cost of his decision.
