A young physics prodigy accidentally creates a vortex that transports him and three companions across parallel versions of Earth, stranding them without the means to return home. Each journey deposits them in a world where history took a dramatically different turn — from Soviet-occupied America to worlds ravaged by ice ages or dominated by other alternate timelines. The group must slide from dimension to dimension, hoping that one day the coordinates will align and bring them back to their own reality.
