A aspiring singer named Tessa works as a stagehand for her overbearing stepmother's travelling theatrical production, dreaming of performing herself. When a masked ball gives her the chance to perform anonymously alongside a famous pop star, the two develop a connection he cannot forget. He sets out to find the mysterious girl whose voice captivated him, while Tessa struggles to keep her identity hidden from her stepmother.
