A Czech television series in which a Catholic priest draws on his knowledge of detective fiction — specifically the rules of fair-play mystery writing set out by Ronald Knox — to solve a series of criminal cases presented to him. Each episode confronts Father Knox with a new puzzle, and he applies both his moral reasoning and his literary expertise to untangle the truth. The stories blend gentle humour with classic whodunit conventions in a Central European setting.
