When a determined journalist begins investigating the Church's systemic cover-up of paedophilia, the institution's carefully maintained façade of moral authority begins to crumble. The film weaves together multiple storylines to paint a damning portrait of clerical corruption and the suffering of victims silenced by institutional power.
