Barry Allen, a police scientist struck by lightning and doused in chemicals, discovers he can move at superhuman speed and dons a red suit to fight crime in Central City. In this television movie, he faces a threat from the villainous Nicholas Pike, a ruthless gang leader who targets the city and those close to Barry. As he struggles to control his extraordinary abilities, Barry must balance his personal life with his responsibilities as the scarlet speedster.
