A former college basketball coaching legend, disgraced after a public meltdown, is forced to take a job coaching a hopeless middle school team as a stepping stone back to the big time. What begins as a self-serving arrangement gradually transforms as the coach forms genuine bonds with his misfit players and rediscovers his love for the game. Starring Martin Lawrence, the film follows his character's journey from humiliation to redemption through the unlikely vehicle of a ragtag group of young underdogs.
