Bal-Can-Can
Directed by Darko Mitrevski (2005)
A group of Balkan smugglers hatch an ambitious scheme to transport a large consignment of cigarettes across multiple national borders, only for their plans to unravel through a series of farcical mishaps and double-crossings. The film follows the chaotic journey of its hapless protagonists through the turbulent post-war Balkans, where corruption, opportunism and regional rivalries conspire against their criminal enterprise. Comic misadventures accumulate as alliances shift and loyalties prove worthless among the motley crew of would-be profiteers.
