The Invisibles

Four young Jewish Berliners survive the Nazi Holocaust by going into hiding within the city itself, evading detection through a combination of luck, courage, and the help of sympathetic non-Jewish Germans. The film weaves together dramatised reconstructions of their experiences with present-day interviews with the real survivors, who recount how they assumed false identities, moved between safe houses, and navigated constant danger. Each person's story reveals a different facet of underground survival in the heart of the Third Reich.
