Desk-bound CIA analyst Susan Cooper volunteers to go undercover in the field after her partner is killed and the identities of all active agents are compromised, tasked with tracking a dangerous arms dealer. Despite being vastly underestimated by her colleagues — particularly the arrogant and obstructive agent Rick Ford — Susan proves surprisingly capable, navigating a series of increasingly perilous situations across Europe. The film plays her fish-out-of-water predicament for broad comedy whilst also delivering genuine action sequences.
