The Orange Girl

Directed by Eva Dahr (2009)

A teenage boy discovers a letter left by his recently deceased father, prompting him to piece together the story of a mysterious young woman his father fell in love with many years earlier. As the father's account unfolds in flashback, the boy learns of a bittersweet romance built around a chance encounter with a girl who sold oranges in Oslo. The narrative raises questions about love, loss, and the choices that shape a life, as both father and son grapple with what it means to truly live.
