A young girl with telekinetic abilities is enrolled at a mysterious residential school that serves as a front for something far more sinister. As she and her friends navigate the cruelty of the institution's staff, she begins to harness her powers in order to protect those she loves. The film blends fantasy and horror imagery with themes of trauma and female empowerment, and was written and directed by the pop artist Melanie Martinez, who also stars in the lead role.
