A seasoned New York detective travels to Stockholm to assist Swedish police in investigating a series of murders targeting seemingly perfect young women. He clashes with his methodical local counterpart as their partnership grows increasingly strained, yet the two must set aside their differences to pursue a killer whose motives run deeper than they first appeared. The investigation draws both men into a dark conspiracy that forces them to question their own judgements and personal lives.
