THE TATTOOIST of AUSCHWITZ
A young Slovakian Jewish man is assigned to work in the Nazi administration at Auschwitz, where his role involves tattooing identification numbers onto fellow prisoners. Whilst carrying out this grim duty, he falls in love with a woman among the camp's inmates, and the two struggle to survive and protect one another amid the horrors surrounding them. The story is framed through the recollections of a survivor speaking decades later, as her account is recorded for posterity.
